The agent of Domenico Criscito will meet with Inter to discuss a transfer for the player.

The Italian international has been at Zenit since 2011 but is open to a return to his home country.

According to Calciomercato.it, Inter are keen to add Criscito to their defence ahead of the new Serie A season.

Inter have already added defenders Jeison Murillo, Joao Miranda and Martin Montoya to their squad this summer.

Criscito has spent most of his Italian club career at Genoa where he made over 150 appearances during his five years at the club.

The Italian international also enjoyed a brief spell at Italian champions Juventus.

Criscito has played 22 times for Italy and was part of the Italian side at the 2008 Olympics.
