Juventus have reportedly agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid defender Guilherme Siqueira ahead of a proposed €12 million move.

The 29-year-old has been expected to leave the Vicente Calderon this summer and the Italian champions are now in prime position to complete the signing after successfully fighting off competition from English Premier League side Chelsea.

Sky Sport Italia have confirmed the imminent transfer between the two sides and have stated that the former Udinese man will sign a contract worth around €2 million a year.

Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri held talks with the player and his representatives on Thursday night in a bid to personally convince him to join the club.

The Brazilian could initially move to the Juventus stadium on a one-year loan deal before becoming a permanent signing following the end of next season.
