The saga of Juventus’ Paul Pogba looks to have finally ended, with Barcelona winning the race for the highly rated French midfielder.

Barcelona sporting director had already traveled to Turin to accelerate negotiations and conclude a deal with Juventus, which he now seems to have sealed.

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that the club has received an €80 million bid for Pogba, according to newspapers Mundo Deportivo and Sport. The Catalan media add however that the transfer would only take place in the summer of 2016 however, with Barcelona still under a transfer ban.

The Catalan media report that both clubs have come to a gentleman’s agreement over the 22-year-old’s transfer, with Juventus assuring the Blaugrana to block any approaches from other clubs before then.

Pogba made 40 appearances in all competitions for Juventus this season, scoring 10 goals and helping the Bianconeri to the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League final.
