The 2015 Supercoppa Italiana will be held in China after a three-year absence from the country.
The 28th edition of the annual battle between the winners of the previous seasons’ Serie A, in this case Juventus for the fourth successive time, and the Coppa Italia, which was also the Bianconeri this season which means Coppa runners-up Lazio will take place in the match, will be held abroad for the eighth time on Saturday August 8 2015.
Unlike normal, however, the Lega Calcio revealed that it wouldn’t be held in Beijing, but at the Shanghai Stadium this year, after three games in the Chinese capital in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
The match has also taken place abroad in Washington, USA in 1993, Tripoli, Libya in 2002, New York, USA in 2003, as well as Doha, Qatar in 2014.
The game kicks off this year at 20:00 local time, which is at 14:00 CET.
