Juventus and Roma are reportedly interested in signing Udinese defender Thomas Heurtaux.

Both teams are looking to replace defenders, with Juventus selling Angelo Ogbonna to West Ham United and Roma letting Jose Holebas join Watford earlier in the summer

The two clubs are interested in defensive additions and according to Tuttoudinese.it the Giallorossi and the Bianconeri have made contact with the Zebrette enquiring about Heurtaux’s availability.

No offer has yet been made as Roma and Juventus look for other potential additions, but a bid could be on the horizon from the Turin based side due to an injury to Andrea Barzagli.

Both sides have been actively seeking reinforcements this summer with Juve having considerably more success, bringing in Mario Mandzukic, Simone Zaza, Sami Khedira and Paulo Dybala.

Heurtaux was a key figure for Udinese last season making 26 Serie A appearances.

The 27-year-old moved to Udine in 2012 from Ligue 1 side Caen.
