Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is not happy with forward Alvaro Morata after the player had a tantrum following his substitution in a friendly against Lechia Gdansk.

The Spanish striker came on at half-time during the Bianconeri’s 2-1 win against the Polish side, but lasted just 25 minutes before being removed from the pitch.

Following the substitution, Morata was evidently annoyed and frustrated with being hauled off and stormed off straight down the tunnel and into the dressing room.

Speaking to journalists after the game Allegri said, “It wasn’t Morata’s day and I didn’t like his attitude.”

“Regardless of his errors, what did not go well today was his attitude. When something failed to work for him, he just stopped.

“That is why I preferred to just get him off the pitch. He made me angry on the pitch, but then redeemed himself as he went off to train by himself.”
