Juventus have completed the signing of goalkeeper Neto, following the expiration of his contract with Fiorentina.
The 25-year-old joined the Viola from Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense during the January transfer window in 2011.
The Brazil international took to Instagram to share his delight at signing for the current Serie A Champions.
“Happy and proud. Part of a new challenge … I can not wait to start! I love you. #until the end,” Neto’s Instagram post read.
Neto has signed a four-year deal worth €2.2 million per season, according to Gazzetta TV
Earlier today Marco Storari left the Bianconeri to join Cagliari after five years of service as Gianluigi Buffon’s understudy, a position Neto will have to endure during the short term.
Neto made 72 appearances for the Viola, attracting interest from all around Europe with a string of commanding performances and his no nonsense attitude between the posts in Florence.
