Juventus have confirmed the purchase of Sassuolo striker Simone Zaza.
The Bianconeri had an option on acquiring the Italy international, and have exercised their right to purchase by today making an official announcement that the player will be wearing a Juventus shirt next season.
Zaza’s sale will net the Neroverdi €18 million, a Juventus statement has confirmed.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a five year deal with the Serie A champions, linking up with fellow summer recruit Paulo Dybala.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side will complete the full €18 million in a sequence of instalments dotted over the next three years.
The former Atalanta man struck nine Serie A goals for Sassuolo last season, a slight decrease from the 11 tallied in the season prior.
