After struggling to negotiate a deal for  Schalke’s Julian Draxler, Juventus have turned their attention to Manchester City forward Samir Nasri.

Originally the Bianconeri were keen on Draxler to bolster the attacking prowess of the team, but have been hindered by a large price tag that has been set by Schalke for the German international.

According to Sport Mediaset, Juventus will attempt to capitalize on Nasri’s uncertain future playing time with the Citizens after the headline grabbing transfer arrival of Raheem Sterling to the club from Liverpool.

Nasri, a versatile 28-year-old winger and attacking midfielder, is seen as a replacement for Arturo Vidal, who recently completed his move to Bayern Munich .

The Frenchman made 18 appearances for City last season, scoring twice and providing six assists.
