Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner has declared that Juventus will do their best to win the Serie A title for a fifth time in a row.
The Bianconeri have enjoyed huge success over the last four seasons, last year winning the domestic double as well as reaching the Champions League final.
“Our first goal is to win the Scudetto, to confirm our strength once again,” said the Swiss International at a press conference on Wednesday.
“It will not be easy but we will try.”
Lichtsteiner also touched upon Juventus’s pre-season preparations stating that their defeat to Borussia Dortmund [2-0 on Saturday] was not representative of their true ability.
“In the match against Borussia Dortmund we were not at peak fitness,” said the 31-year-old.
“On Wednesday [when Juventus will play Lechia Gdanks] we want to go one step further.”
