Despite having an initial approach rejected by Bundesliga side Schalke, Juventus remain undeterred and are reportedly preparing a second bid for midfield ace Julian Draxler.

The Turin outfit are thought to be in no rush to land Draxler despite having a €15 million plus bonuses bid turned down by the Germans, who felt the offer was too low.

“We are interested in Draxler, but he’s still a Schalke player and a lot will depend on their will,” said Juventus’s sporting director Fabio Paratici to Sky Sport Italia, proving that the Italian giants remain determined to get their man.

“We’re not in any rush, there’s time.”

The 21-year-old made his Bundesliga debut for Schalke aged just 17 in January 2011, making 15 appearances for the club during the 2014/15 campaign.

Draxler has been identified by Juve as a replacement for Arturo Vidal who left Turin for Bayern Munich earlier this week.
