Arturo Vidal has revealed that he is leaving Juventus to join German champions Bayern Munich.

The Chilean international has just won the Copa America and has been linked with a move away from Turin all summer.

“I am going to Bayern Munich.” Vidal told Chilean newspaper La Carta.

The deal is expected to be €36 million with an extra €4 million to be paid as bonuses.

Vidal will be replacing Bastian Schweinsteiger in Bayern’s midfielder, after the German World Cup winner joined Manchester United earlier this summer.

The Chilean international spent four years in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen before joining Juventus.

The 28-year-old joined Juventus in 2011 and has won four consecutive Serie A titles at the club.

Vidal was also part of the Juventus team that reached the Champions League final last season.
