New Juventus signing Sami Khedira has revealed that he wants to become a leader for the Bianconeri, while admitting he wants to win the Champions League this season.

The midfielder arrived on a free transfer from Real Madrid earlier this summer, and he did not hold back in letting his ambitious goals for the upcoming season be known.

“It is my personal ambition to become a leader for this team,” the 28-year-old stated while speaking with As.

Juventus fell just short of winning the Champions League last season, falling 3-1 to Barcelona in the final, but the German is hopeful to improve on that in next year’s edition.

“When you lose a final, next time you want to win it even more. It will not be easy, but the quality of this team is very high.”

Khedira struggled for playing time last season, featuring in 17 matches in all competitions for Los Blancos last season.

To win CL Juve must sell Ogbonna, Isla and Llorente 25 mill. and buy Oscar or Isco along with Darmian 50 mill.

  2. Uhtred says:

I don’t like the option about Isco, and Oscar is not a constant player, I think the Mario Gotze is the right choice to the Vecchia Signora.

We aren’t getting either of those. First off now darmian is with Man U and secondly oscar or isco would cost us a bomb so they would only come if one of vidal or pogba leave and i prefer if they dont and we stay without them. I also just read that it’s nearly a done deal us getting vrsaljko of sassuolo so that’s pretty good news.

I think we have what it takes to make it far in the UCL again not sure about the finals but pretty far like semis or 1/4s for sure.If everything goes right ie. no massive injuries and the new guys performing well.

I also do really think and hope that Khedira will deliver and will become a key player to this team he definitely has what it takes.
