Lazio after Feyenoord captain to replace Argentinian international

Lazio are reportedly targeting Jordy Clasie from Feyenoord should Lucas Biglia leave the club.

Clasie, who is a Dutch international, could replace Biglia who has been linked with a move away from Rome in recent weeks.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, if Biglia were to depart Lazio the club are hoping that Clasie would be able to fill the gap left behind by the Argentinian international.

Clasie, who is Feyenoord’s captain, would like to leave Feyenoord after stating that he wants to play in a better league.

The Dutch international has notched up a total of 163 appearances for Feyenoord, scoring 10 goals and racking up 29 assists.

Biglia, meanwhile, has been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid after impressing for both club and country last season.
