Lazio and Liverpool are considering an exchange deal for Keita Balde and Fabio Borini with the capital club in line to make a small profit.

The Biancocelsti have identified Borini as one of their primary targets after some intensive scouting and are willing to allow Keita to move away as they pursue the former Roma attacker.

According to Il Tempo, Lazio are in discussions with the Merseyside club who are willing to offer €2 million plus Borini to sign the Barcelona youth product.

Keita made 23 appearances and scored one goal for the Aquile during the 2014-15 Serie A season while Borini featured in just 12 Premier League matches and the Italian striker scored one goal.

Keita’s agent Ulisse Savini previously acknowledged that his client was unhappy with the amount of time spent on the Lazio bench and admitted that a move to Liverpool would be an attractive prospect, although he had not been in direct contact with the club.
