Former AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato is thought to be fourth choice for Lazio in their search for a new striker.

The former AC Milan player  is currently on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians, who wish to sell him as soon as possible. Pato has been disappointing during his second spell in Brazil and it is thought a fee of €9 million would be required to bring the Brazilian back to Italy.

However, a deal currently looks unlikely, as according to Il Tempo, Lazio would prefer to sign either Fabio Borini of Liverpool or Burak Yilmaz of Galatasaray, despite being offered the chance to sign Pato by the Brazilian club.

It is also believed that Lazio are looking at Cedric Bakambu of Buraspor and possibly Gaston Ramirez of Southampton.

At Sao Paulo, Alexandre Pato has bagged 11 goals in 32 league games. While at Corinthians he scored 10 in 30 appearances.
