Lazio set hefty price tag on Manchester United and Real Madrid target

Lucas Biglia LazioLazio are determined to keep hold of their Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia amidst reported interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United, with the Aquile adamant that they will only sell the player for a huge fee.

Club president Claudio Lotito has put a hefty price tag on the 29-year-old and offered the player a lucrative new contract to tie him down at the Stadio Olimpico.

According to Il Messaggero, Lotito has publicised to other clubs that he values Biglia at €50 million and is unwilling to sell for less.

The Biancocelesti are also willing to provide the Argentine international with a contract that keeps him in the capital until 2020 with an annual salary of €2.2 m.

Biglia made 27 appearances and scored three goals for Lazio during the 2014-15 Serie A season and he has featured in all five of Argentina’s Copa America fixtures as his nation reached the final.
