English Premier League side Leicester City are attempting to sign Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler.
The Partenopei have brought in a myriad of new faces so far in the summer transfer window signalling the potential departure of several members of their squad. The club will be hoping to reduce it’s wage bill and Inler could be the first of these to be shown the exit door.
Tuttosport reports that new Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has contacted Napoli’s management to try and agree a deal that would bring the 31-year-old to the King Power Stadium for a fee of around €6 million.
Should the offer be accepted and a deal be reached between both parties, it is expected that Inler would sign a two-year long deal.
The Swiss international joined Napoli in 2011 and has scored 13 times in 166 games for them.
