Manchester City have set an asking price of €28 million for Edin Dzeko which Roma must meet if they wish to acquire his services.

The Giallorossi are interested in landing a front line striker this summer and have targeted the Bosnian star, with whom they have already agreed personal terms with.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the 29-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium due to the arrival of Wilfried Bony in January.

As a result Dzeko has had limited game time, making only 15 appearances in all competitions since the turn of the year, with reports indicating the Citizens are willing to let the striker go for €28m.

With Roma looking to sell the likes of Gervinho and Mattia Destro, it is believed they would use funds from their sales to finance a move for the former Wolfsburg man.

Dzeko has made 185 appearances during his time at Man City, scoring 71 goals.
