Edin Dzeko Manchester CityEdin Dzeko has reportedly told the Manchester City hierarchy that he desperately wants to move to Roma and for a deal to be completed as soon as possible.

The Giallorossi have been busy trying to secure new signings all summer as well as move on unwanted players such as Mattia Destro, Gervinho and Seydou Doumbia.

The Bosnian has been linked with a move to Rome for a long time and a deal now looks close following sporting director Walter Sabatini’s trip to England.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Dzeko has demanded a move to the Stadio Olimpico and the deal should be completed in the next week.

Dzeko experienced limited first team football for the Citizens last season making only 11 starts in the Premier League and the 29-year-old scored only four goals.

Dzeko moved to Manchester in 2011 after making a name for himself at German side Wolfsburg where he had scored 66 goals in 111 appearances.

  1. Dzeko would be better off if he finds another club, because i dont see him playing better than the other strikers

  2. Eric_Meenye says:

He will only play well if garcia sets up his team to favour his tyle of play eg( getting numerous crosses to him and giving him the ball to hold up play for the rest of the team especially the pacey wingers
