The requests of Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko could leave Roma with no option but to look elsewhere as the Lupi seek a new striker.

In what is becoming a lengthy transfer saga as contrasting reports continue to emerge from both sides of the deal, reports in Italy maintain Roma’s interest and outline the requests of the Bosnian striker, should his move to the Italian capital go ahead.

Dzeko has demanded a €4.5 million per season contract, lasting five years, which Roma are hesitant about accepting, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, with several other transfer targets still considered viable.

Meanwhile the Giallorossi’s long-term admiration for Luiz Adriano continues, as well as their interest in Premier League strikers Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke, while Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is also believed to be a target; but the clubs of these players will likely put up a considerable fight to keep hold of their star attackers.
