Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are among numerous top European clubs interested in signing Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

The 25-year-old is integral to coach Rudi Garcia’s plans, as the Frenchman has made keeping the former Lyon player in the Italian capital as one of his top priorities ahead of next season.

However recent developments in the transfer market has seen increased interest in Pjanic with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid all vying for his signature after Liverpool ended their interest in the midfielder by opting to sign Hoffenheim’s Roberto Firmino.

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have already had an offer refused for Pjanic as they looks to spend the funds generated from the sale of Arda Turan to Barcelona, whilst PSG have committed to substantial summer spending after UEFA relaxed their Financial Fair Play restrictions.

Although, any attempts to take the Bosnian back to Ligue 1 may be dependent on the French champions offloading midfielders Thiago Motta and Yohan Cabaye.

Pjanic joined the Giallorossi in 2011 from French side Lyon and last season extended his contract with the Lupi until 2018.
