Despite heavy interest from Manchester United, Matteo Darmian has yet to receive a concrete offer from the Red Devils, who are now keen on Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

The English club appear to be hesitant in their evaluation of the promising Italian, who had most recently been slapped with a €20 million price tag by Torino chairman Urbano Cairo.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Premier League giants have reached a crossroads with their evaluation of the player after Napoli were turned away from a deal, and that could make or break the possibility of United in deciding to answer Torino’s demands.

Despite the lack of action from United, Cairo has continued communication with the Red Devils and is yet to rule out the possibility of a deal coming to surface.
