Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has admitted Barcelona made the club an offer for Pogba.

The 22-year-old has been the subject of intense transfer speculation with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City all said to be looking to sign the Frenchman. However, it is reported that Barcelona have an agreement with Juventus for the sale of Pogba following a meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

“Yes, we received an offer [from Barcelona] of €80 million, but Pogba is not for sale,” Marotta told Gazzetta.it.

Pogba made 26 Serie A appearances last season, scoring on eight occasions as Juventus won the Scudetto at a canter. The Bianconeri also lifted the Coppa Italia, as well as reaching the Champions League final, though the lost 3-1 to Barcelona.
