AC Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is desperate to bring Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli to the club, as he readies an €18 million offer.
The 20-year-old Italian youth international spent last season on loan flourishing at Sampdoria under Mihajlovic, and the Serbian wants to be re-united with the defender again this season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Milan are ready to offer €18 million to the Giallorossi, despite the fact that Roma have set an asking price of €30 million on their prized youngster.
The Rossoneri believe that their offer is enough to convince Roma to sell, after they netted Andrea Bertolacci for €20 million earlier this month from the same club.
Despite Roma insisting the player is not for sale, and Romagnoli himself publicly stating that he isn’t convinced of a move to Milan, Mihajlovic is still expected to persist with the attempts to bring him to the club.
