AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic was pleased with his side’s performance in their 1-0 derby win over Inter in the International Champions Cup in China.
Philippe Mexes scored the only goal of the game, but it was enough to sink Inter as Milan started their preseason campaign on a fine note.
“I am happy with the team performance”, Mihajlovic told the press.
“We looked dangerous in creating chances throughout the game.
“Everyone in the team knows what to do on every kick on the ball and how to move on the pitch.
“The important thing is to change the mentality, and to play only for the win.
“I liked the spirit of the team, and in fact it has suffered little or nothing.
“We started from zero, and the team now have started to show some progress tactically.
“Players are focused on their jobs and performing well. I think we are in the right path.”
