Juventus Fiorentina LlorenteFrench giants Monaco look set to pull out of the race for unwanted Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.

The 30-year-old Spanish international struggled for goals during his second season in Turin, and the Bianconeri are happy to offload him if an appropriate offer arrives.

Tuttomercatoweb report that Monaco have been long-term admirers of the towering striker, but may pull out of negotiations as they focus on other targets.

Monaco have already bought Guido Carrillo from Estudiantes, and are close to signing Roma poacher Mattia Destro meaning their search for a striker has now been completed.

The Old Lady will now have to look for a new buyer for Llorente, with Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur still reported to be in the race.

Llorente only netted nine goals in 45 matches last season for Juventus.
