Mr Bee meetingBee Taechaubol has met with AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi to complete a deal which will see the Thai businessman purchase a massive share in the Rossoneri.

Known simply as Mr Bee, the private equity specialist will acquire 48 percent of the club for a sum of €480 million, but Berlusconi will continue to be the majority share-holder owning the remaining 52 percent.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Taechaubol met with the Milan club’s board of directors, including Barabara Berlusconi and the Fininvest group, following discussions at president Berlusconi’s private residence.

Topics of discussion are believed to have included plans for the construction of the Rossoneri’s new stadium and the expansion of the AC Milan brand in the Asian market.

Mr Bee’s investment could allow the team to pursue transfer targets such as Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli, while a reunion with Zlatan Ibrahimovic could also be on the cards.
