Juan Jesus InterNapoli are reportedly set to pursue Inter defender Juan Jesus after falling behind in the race for Davide Astori.

The 24-year-old, whose current contract with the Nerazzuri is set to expire in June 2018, has been steadily linked with a possible move to several clubs as of late including Wolfsburg and Fenerbahce, though it looks like the Partenopei may be prepared to make a serious bid for his services in the coming weeks.

According to Sport Mediaset, Napoli are viewing the Brazil international as a more affordable alternative to previous target Nikola Maksimovic, as the Torino man’s price has been raised a couple of times already, and may be willing to make an offer for him as soon as possible, with Inter apparently willing to let him go for a reasonable price.

Reports also suggest that the Azzurri could be looking to sign Danilo D’Ambrosio from the Biscione as well, though it’s unknown if the San Paolo outfit would be prepared to secure both players.

Juan Jesus made 32 Serie A appearances last term.
