Fiorentina winger Joaquin’s agent has come out and strongly denied rumours linking him to a possible return to Spain.
Joaquin has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Real Betis for some time now.
Moreover, Joaquin has previously been open about his desire to return to Real Betis. However according to Joaquin’s agent there has been no contact made between Joaquin and representatives of the La Liga side.
“We have had no contact with them, I repeat, no one,” revealed Joaquin’s agent Eduardo Espejo when speaking to Spanish paper ABC de Sevilla.
“He has a contract with Fiorentina and thinks only of Fiorentina. He will return to training on Sunday.”
Joaquin has enjoyed reasonable success so far in Florence and looks set to be continuing his career with Fiorentina for the foreseeable future.
