The agent of Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez has stated there is no foundation in rumours linking the Spaniard with a move to Inter.
After losing out to Porto in the race for Giannelli Imbula, the Nerazzurri are back in the market for a central midfield and reports have linked them with a move for the 28-year-old, but his agent has dismissed the notion that talks are underway.
“I’ve heard and read of this deal being a possibility, but I can clarify that at this time this is not a reality,” Manuel Garcia Quilon told FcInterNews.it.
“The negotiations between Inter and Atletico for the player is simple talk, nothing more.
“There is simply nothing concrete and real about this story.”
The former Mallorca midfielder is valued at around €10 million and has made 121 appearances and scored four goals since returning to the Colchoneros in 2010.
