Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka has confirmed that he is moving to Belgian giants Anderlecht.
The 25-year-old Italian international has been linked with an exit all summer, and now looks set for a new adventure in the Jupiler Pro League after the two sides came to a €3 million agreement.
Sky Sport Italia report that the player has already landed in Brussels and is ready to sign his contract and undergo a medical on Tuesday morning.
“I chose Anderlecht because I’m here to win. Tomorrow I will undergo a medical and will explain everything in due time,” Okaka told Sampnews24.com.
Okaka is set to sign a four-year deal with the club worth €1 million per season, and arrives as a direct replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who joined Newcastle United.
