Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is adamant that his side can win a fifth consecutive Serie A crown, suggesting that they are ‘accustomed’ to winning.

The Bianconeri romped towards a Serie A and Coppa Italia domestic double last term, but were denied a historic treble by Barcelona in the Champions League showpiece.

Nevertheless, the 22-year-old insists that the European final defeat is a thing of the past and that Juventus are equally as strong despite some high-profile departures.

“If we want, we can win, because we know how it works – it depends on us,” he told Tuttosport.

“We have won four league titles, I think we’re all accustomed to thinking we can win the league.

“It’s true we have lost some experienced players, but we still have great players with a lot of experience. We are Juventus and we will always do well with anyone there. And skilled players like [Sami] Khedira and [Mario] Mandzukic have arrived.

“We know it will be difficult, however, because for 3 to 4 years we have had the same team, the same players. Things are different now but we are Juventus and we must always aim for the maximum.”

Pogba also went on to address Arturo Vidal’s departure to Bayern Munich and has reassured fans his future remains at the club.

“Vidal did very well here at Juve and has now gone to Bayern and has made the right decision for himself.

“I am here and not thinking about the market. Will I stay 100%? I’m here, I will stay here.”
