alessio romagnoli sampdoriaAlessio Romagnoli’s move to AC Milan is on hold for the time being, due to Roma’s asking price for the Italian defender.

The centre back, who impressed last season during his loan spell at Sampdoria, has been the subject of interest from the Rossoneri and Napoli for some time now. Milan are the current front runners for the player, as Sinisa Mihajlovic looks to add to his defensive options.

However, according to Il Messaggero, any move currently looks unlikely as the Stadio Meazza outfit’s offer of €15 million is lower than the Giallorossi’s valuation of the defender.

Napoli also remain interested but have yet to make an offer for the Italian U-21 international.

Romagnoli was a key player for Sampdoria last season making 30 appearances as the Blucerchiati finished seventh in Serie A.
