There is growing discontent at Roma as coach Rudi Garcia is unhappy with the lack of transfer activity, with the start of the Serie A season fast approaching.

Garcia had been hoping to strengthen after the 2014/15 campaign, however, only Spaniard Iago Falque has been added to the squad, whilst several negotiations are still ongoing.

Il Messaggero reports that Garcia is becomingly increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress made by sporting director Walter Sabatini, particularly in regard to forward Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnian striker has reportedly agreed a contract with Roma but the club is yet to come to an arrangement on a transfer fee with Manchester City.

Roma look set to confirm the loan signing of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and they are continuing negotiations for Barcelona’s Brazilian left-back Adriano ahead of the start of the new season.
