Roma have completed the loan signing of Victor Ibarbo from Cagliari for the 2015-16 season.
Ibarbo spent the second half of last season on loan at the Stadio Olympico. However, Ibarbo experienced a difficult start to his Roma career as a series of injuries limited his contribution for the Giallorossi.
Ibarbo was only able to make 10 appearances during his previous loan spell.
Roma have agreed a €5 million fee to renew Ibarbo’s loan for 2015-16 season, making the announcement via the club’s official website, and have the option to purchase him for an additional €8 million at the end of season.
Ibarbo is the Giallorossi’s third signing of the summer after completing deals for Iago Falque from Genoa and Radja Nainggolan on a permanent deal from Cagliari.
During his time at Cagliari Ibarbo made 115 appearances, scoring 15 and making 10 assists.
