Augsburg left back Abdul Rahman Baba is reportedly close to a move to Roma.

The Giallorossi have already sold Jose Holebas to Watford this summer and are looking for a new left back.

According to Gazzetta Tv, the Giallorossi have offered Augsburg €13 million for Baba, however the German side will only sell the Ghanaian left back for a fee close to €20 million.

Roma must act fast if they wish to secure a deal for Baba, as Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the player.

The Ghanaian made 31 appearances in the Bundesliga for the German side last season.

Roma are also reportedly targeting a new striker with Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko and Alexsandar Mitrovic of Anderlecht on their wish list.
