alessio romagnoli sampdoriaRoma defender Alessio Romagnoli is reportedly keen on a move to AC Milan.

A potential deal between the two clubs has been mooted for a while now, with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani confirming yesterday that the Rossoneri have bid €25 million for the 20 year-old.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi will not lower their €30 million asking price for the centre-back despite Romagnoli’s requests for a move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Italy U-21 international impressed last season on loan at Sampdoria making 28 starts, where he also worked with new Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Romagnoli is a product of the Giallorossi’s youth academy but has only made 13 first-team appearances for Roma.

The Diavolo have enjoyed quite a summer spending spree during this transfer window, bringing in the likes of Carlos Bacca, Luiz Adriano and Andrea Bertolacci.
