Edin Dzeko Manchester CityRoma sporting director Walter Sabatini is having difficulty completing the deal for Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko.

The two clubs have been negotiating for some time now but progress has been slow due to The Citizens refusing to lower their asking price. The Giallorossi have reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Bosnian.

A report in Il Tempo is suggesting that Sabatini has postponed his meeting with City’s representatives in the hope Dzeko himself will put pressure on City to lower their demands and push through the transfer.

Roma are prepared to raise their offer to around €20 million but will go nowhere near City’s asking price of €30 million.

The forward endured limited first-team football in Manchester last season, making only 11 starts, scoring four goals and creating two assists.
