Amidst heavy interest from rival clubs, Juventus defender Daniele Rugani is eager to return to his parent club Juventus after a strong season on loan with Empoli.
The centre-back has seen an €18 million bid from Arsenal rejected, while Napoli also hopes to bring in the 20-year-old to bolster their defensive line for next season, but Juventus are hesitant to give up their new star defender.
“I’m ready for Juve, and am curious to know if they want me,” said Rugani in an interview with SportWeek.
“I feel ready, but they will be the ones to decide. The dressing room will certainly be different from Empoli, but I’m not scared.”
Rugani joined Empoli in 2013 and has gone on to help them win 2nd place promotion from Serie B into Serie A, and followed with aiding the Azzurri to survive the top division with a 15th place finish.
