Sampdoria may be forced to play their Europa League third qualifying round match at the Juventus Stadium as the Mapei Stadium in Reggio-Emilia may not be ready to host matches by July 30.

The Blucerchiati will take part in the preliminary stages of the tournament later this summer, but where the Genoa based club will play remains a question mark as the Stadio Luigi Ferraris remains unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.

With Samp having named the Mapei Stadium as their alternative venue, the Liguria club may be forced to move to yet another location as the Sassuolo home is undergoing renovations ahead of the 2016 Women’s Champions League.

As a result Corriere Mercantile reports that the Juventus Stadium is the favourite to play host to the Blucerchiati’s home match, with the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan and the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi in Verona next in line.

The draw for the third qualifying round will be held on July 17, with the first legs to be played on July 30 and the second legs to be played on August 6.
