Sampdoria will square off against Serbian side Vojvodina in the Europa League third qualifying round.

The Vosa, hot on the heels of a first leg 3-0 victory over Latvian club Spartaks Jurmala, preserved their advantage thanks to 1-1 draw in Latvia to proceed past the second qualifying round on Thursday.

The result means that the former club of legendary Sampdoria coach Vujadin Boskov will square off against the Blucerchiati for a place in the next round of the competition.

The first leg will take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin on July 30, while the second leg will be played at the Karadorde Stadium with kick-off for both matches yet to be determined.
