New Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri will not change his ways or methods now that he is running one of the biggest clubs in Italy.
The tactician had an excellent campaign keeping minnows Empoli away from relegation and was immediately snapped up by the Partenopei, once previous coach Rafa Benitez did not have his contract with the club renewed.
“I’m still smoking like before and I’ll always be wearing my tracksuit on match days,” he told journalists whilst attending the Perlamora festival. “I haven’t changed my ways since coaching at the amateur levels.
“Perhaps I’m a bit more patient than before but I think that’s come with age.”
“I don’t think I’m a winner now that I’m at Napoli, I’m a winner because I’ve made the job of coaching my living.”
Sarri managed to lead his previous side to a fantastic 15th place finish last season and received nationwide acclaim for his style of play.
