Sevilla president Jose Castro has admitted that his club are working on a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile and Juventus wing-back Mauricio Isla.

The 25-year-old Italian international Immobile endured a less than successful debut season in the Bundesliga after moving from Torino, and reports from Kicker suggest he could be offloaded.

His failure to acclimatise to the German culture is one of the reasons he would be allowed to leave, and the La Liga looms as a probable destination for the former Serie A top goalscorer.

Isla meanwhile, fresh from impressing in Chile’s Copa America triumph, recently returned to the Bianconeri after spending last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

The 27-year-old ex-Udinese star however will be put on the market again this summer, and Castro gave a strong hint that Sevilla could be his next destination.

“We are missing three players: a right back, a midfielder and a striker. Isla? He’s one of our targets,” Castro told Cadena Cope.

“Immobile? He’s an interesting option, I see him as a good player and we are working on a deal for him.”
