Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk have said goodbye to their striker Luiz Adriano following his transfer to AC Milan.
The Brazilian international has signed a five-year contract with the Rossoneri, with the deal being announced immediately after a meeting between the player and the club’s management at Casa Milan, and his former side have wished him well for his move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Twitter.
Adriano joined the Ukrainian side in 2007, and the 28-year-old is the side’s highest goal scorer in their history, after hitting the back of the net 128 times in 266 games.
