Inter winger Xherdan Shaqiri has reportedly changed his mind and is now open to a move to the English Premier League with Stoke City.

Inter have been busy in the transfer market this summer as they look to strengthen Roberto Mancini’s options before the start of the new season.

However, in an attempt make more funds available, the Nerazzurri are trying to move Shaqiri on, despite he forward’s move from Bayern Munich only being made permanent this summer for €15 million.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter coach Mancini has convinced Shaqiri that a move to England would be beneficial, not only for Shaqiri but also for the Nerazzurri as the club would make a profit of €2 million on the player, with the Potters having offered €17 million.

Tottenham Hotspur are also thought to still be open to a swap deal with the Inter, with Shaqiri heading to White Hart Lane and Erik Lamela heading in the opposite direction.
