Napoli CrestAfter recently appointing new Sporting Director Cristiano Guintoli from Carpi, Napoli look set to add a number of new players to their squad.

Napoli endured a difficult campaign last season as they missed out on Champions League qualification. They were also knocked out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage by Dnipro of Ukraine.

They now face a fresh start under new Head Coach Maurizio Sarri, previously of Empoli.

According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Napoli are closing in on the signing of midfielder Allan from Udinese.

Moreover, the Partenopei are also in advanced negotiations for Sime Vrsaljko of Sassuolo, Diego Perotti of Genoa and Davide Astori of Cagliari.

However, Napoli currrently also face competition from VFB Stuttgart for the Italian defender.

The Partenopei finished fifth in Serie A last season and will hope that these new signings and new Head Coach Maurizio Sarri will help them reach the Champions League.
