English Premier league side Southampton have entered the race to sign Angelo Ogbonna, who is also attracting interest from rivals Everton and West Ham United.
The Juventus defender looks set to leave Turin, but had seemed likely to remain in Serie A amid interest from Napoli and Bologna, however Partenopei coach Maurizio Sarri has turned his attention to other targets whilst the Rossoblu have been put off by the Old Lady’s €10 million asking price.
According to Tuttopsort, the Saints will have to move quickly if they are to secure the services of the former Torino centre-back as West Ham United have already opened talks with the 27-year-old.
Ogbonna joined Juventus from rivals Torino in 2013 and has made 55 appearances for the Old Lady winning two league titles as well as the Coppa Italia during his time with the Bianconeri.
