Former Inter and AC Milan player Sulley Ali Muntari has officially joined Al Ittihad, penning a two-year contract with the Saudi Arabian side.
The midfielder has completed his medical and agreed terms with the Jeddah-based club. The deal ends the uncertainty surrounding the Ghanaian’s future after the mutual termination of his contract with the Rossoneri
According to the Saudi club’s official website, the deal has been confirmed with the Ghanaian FA also posting a picture of Muntari with his Al Ittihad kit.
The 30-year-old is a vastly experienced player who has had spells in England and Italy while also appearing at three world cups and is set to bolster Al Ittihad’s title ambitions.
The deal will also see him make more money than any other player in Serie A.
Muntari made 70 appearances for the Milan in four seasons, scoring 11 goals.
