AC Milan midfielder Suso has hailed the impact of new boss Sinisa Mihajlovic, and reveals his footballing idol to be former Juventus great Zinedine Zidane.
The 21-year-old Spanish youth international arrived at the Rossoneri from Liverpool in January, but failed to get much of a look-in from former boss Filippo Inzaghi.
“Mihajlovic? Hes a great coach with lots of experience and some good ideas. I hope to compete in many games, score many goals and always give my maximum,” Suso told fans on WeChat.
“I have many friends in the dressing room, especially Nigel de Jong, Diego Lopez and Alex. I’ll be sharing a room with Lopez on the Asian tour because we speak the same language.
“Who is the most fashionable in the team? De Jong, but [Keisuke] Honda also has a great taste in fashion. The worst taste in music? [Andrea] Poli, he likes rock music.
“My most memorable match was against Inter in the derby, it was an incredible feeling.
“My idol? Zinedine Zidane. My favorite Rossoneri player? Certainly Kaka.”
